Committee chairman Derek Gray will propose reforming the States Members Remuneration Review Board to consider whether some States Members should earn more than others.
The board was set up to examine States pay, but has been bound by a States decision ensuring all Members are paid the same.
Following a recent suggestion by Economic Development Minister Philip Ozouf to set up a sliding pay scale – like almost all other governments – Mr Gray, the Constable of St Clement, says it could be reformed to look at pay rates and pension arrangements.
