And next year it promises to be bigger and even better with the organisers hoping to add camping and a third day of music to the programme.

The third annual festival attracted its best line-up yet with Snow Patrol , currently at number one in the album charts, headlining Saturday with The Zutons and Editors also playing the main Positiv stage at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity.

Dance fans, meanwhile, were treated to sets by some of the biggest names in the business, led by world renowned DJ and producer James Lavelle.

For the first time a second night was added to the programme and the 2,000+ people who went along are unlikely to ever forget a storming performance by UK festival veterans The Levellers who, in their 20th year, showed that they have lost none of their passion or enthusiasm for live music.

They were many people’s pick of the weekend, including organiser Warren Holt’s.
