Applications are invited from sixth-formers planning to begin their course in September 2007.
The successful student will receive a £300 grant each term for three years, plus £100 of vouchers towards books and expenses and four weeks’ guaranteed paid work experience each year in hospitality-related businesses.
JHA chief executive Gerald Fletcher said that to satisfy the applications panel the chosen degree course would need to focus on one of four areas: hospitality, tourism, leisure or travel.
