Ben Murray competes at lightweight while welterweight Danny Kennedy and middleweight Craig Culkin box for ABA titles for the first time.
The trio, who have all been training hard in the club’s South Hill Gymnasium under the guidance of coaches Dave Thompson, MBE, Eddie Stuart, Tony Burt and John Day, step into the ring at the start of the Southern area ABA senior championships being staged at the Lake View Country Club, in Bodmin, Cornwall.
Three other Leonis members will box on the same bill, schoolboy Tom Frame, welterweight Daniel Murphy and middleweight Ross Le Cornu.
