Eleven standard production and two beach cars will be racing, while the bikers will be twisting their throttle grips with six adults, five juniors and three auto riders taking part.
JMCLCC secretary Cathy Bertie-Roberts said: ‘We lost a couple of events during the summer because of poor weather and the wrong sand conditions, so this is an extra event to finish the season off.
‘Floodlit racing is new to us but it’s something the members wanted to try out.
No championship points will be at stake and spectators are advised to watch from the top of the seawall for safety reasons.’ Action is from 5 pm with the final races expected to begin around two hours later.
