Eggs were hurled at houses and the police, two fireworks were thrown through a letter box in St Aubin and a wooden pole was pushed through the window of an honorary police van.
However there were only a few reports of damaged property and the police found little evidence of under-age drinking.
First Tower was again the centre of trouble and honorary and States police had to deal with a spate of incidents around St Andrew’s Park and St Aubin’s Road.
‘Extra officers were patrolling residential areas last night in a bid to minimise problems such as bad behaviour, including fireworks being let off and eggs being thrown at houses,’ said Chief Insp Shaun Du Val.
‘They will continue to be on duty and we ask that parents continue to support their efforts to make Halloween, Bonfire Night and the half-term a peaceful time for everyone.’
