Another two newcomers to the Island boxing scene will make their senior bow on Saturday; Featherweight Ryan Nichol against Shabur Rhaman; and welterweight David Harrison against Shaun Doyle.
Leonis ABC provide the home club with excellent support in the shape of Boyd Munroe, matched with lightwelter Tony Kennelly; Lightweight Ryan Powell taking on Sam Marson; 17-year-old Tommy Noel, matched with Michael Clark and possibly Danny Kennedy, who has been in regular action of late, but who is showing no sign of weariness.
All in all another good night of Island amateur boxing is in prospect.
