Former Deputy chosen to help plan the Battle

Last night members of the Jersey Battle of Flowers Association agreed it would be a good idea if the former States Deputy were to join the board empowered to find the way forward.

At the association’s annual general meeting members had the chance to air their views on the record loss of over £96,000 on the 2006 event.

But according to Jersey Battle of Flowers Ltd board member Tony Perkins, they decided there was no point in having a witch-hunt because the balance sheet ‘speaks for itself’.
