JEP assistant editor Anthony Lewis has spent this year trying to pen a tune to rival them all in his bid to stop X Factor’s seemingly inevitable trip to the top each year.
He even took a bet with William Hill at 500-1 against him doing it.
Tomorrow, the result of 11 months of creative blood, sweat and tears will be heard publicly for the first time.
The première of the song Colour This Time (Hug a Muslim) will take place during Channel 103’s Decades show hosted by Peter Mac.
Tomorrow is also the day that Anthony shoots the video for the song with local company Spike Productions, and he is appealing to Islanders to join him for their 15 seconds of fame at Le Braye car park on the Five Mile Road.
‘I chose the Five Mile Road because it’s one of my favourite places in Jersey and I hope the video will be a showcase for the Island too,’ said Anthony.
‘With Spike’s help we will try to get the video shown all over the place, on TV, music channels, and across the internet.’
