In four days, the exhibition at Fort Regent attracted a record 13,500 visitors, with stands which were supplied by more than 90 traders.
The most popular products were Magic Shammys, fruit and vegetable juices and complimentary massages.
But shoppers did not hold back in splashing out on luxury items like spas and saunas, kitchens and innovative furniture designs.
Organiser Julie Settle, from CMA Public Relations and Event Management, said: ‘The show was hugely successful – so much so that many exhibitors actually ran out of products! As soon as people went up they seemed to be in “”spend mode”” – it’s a bit like when you go on holiday and get to Gatwick and you end up buying all sorts of things you wouldn’t usually buy.
