The action could escalate to include Airport public sector employees who are considering coming out in support of their private sector colleagues who work for UK-owned G4S Aviation Services.
The workers are striking over a pay dispute.
If the public sector workers do take action, then there will be no flying in or out and the Airport would be completely closed from 5 am until 9 am.
It will also mean no newspapers or mail tomorrow.
Further strikes are planned for both Friday and next Monday.
There will be picket lines tomorrow morning and it is expected Jersey Post workers who are members of the Communication Workers Union will not cross them.
Similarly, other staff with technical jobs may not cross lines.
