MBC Motor Repairs, at Red Houses, St Brelade, has slashed its prices, undercutting the rest by as much as 16p a litre.
The garage, which six weeks ago was charging 75.9p per litre of unleaded, has this week cut its price to 68.9p.
Four pence has also been taken off the price of its diesel, taking that down to 75.9p.
Owner Mark Chadwick said: ‘The promotion will last for the rest of the year as a little thank-you to all our customers.
We want to thank the people that have supported us over the year.’ He added, however, that it would probably be impossible to maintain such a price because the margins were so small.
