ROGER Bosio has raised a glass in celebration of 40 years of service at Randalls.
Mr Bosio (59) joined the company in 1968 as a bottler, before moving on to the brewing department. And for the last 22 years he has been responsible for ensuring that the beer sold in Randalls pubs across the Island tastes just right.
Mr Bosio said: ‘It has been a great place to work over the years. I started working at Randalls when I was 19 and I have seen so many changes over the years. I have seen the place demolished and rebuilt, and I have worked in a few different departments.
‘Nowadays I am responsible for ensuring that the beer tastes good. If a pub gets a complaint, I get called out and make sure that their pipes are okay and that everything is working correctly. It’s a great job, as am on the road every day and I get to meet a lot of people.’
Mr Bosio, who is a married father-of-two, celebrated 40 years of service in June and then again over Christmas, when the company treated him and his colleagues to a party at La Cala.
