HERE we go again! After reading your article (9 February) titled ‘States explore geo-thermal heat’, I don’t see why Housing and a Scrutiny panel have attended a presentation by a German company, Bauer GMBH. Why have they gone to a German company?
I am sure the States are well aware that there are a number of companies in Jersey which are quite capable of giving a presentation, excavating the necessary boreholes and even installing the geo-thermal system.
They can even provide a local service should there be any teething problems after installation. How amazing is that?
You don’t even need to step out of the Island. It’s all here on our doorstep, so use it!
