Senator Le Sueur said that the response from Islanders had been ‘no more than adequate’ and called for more people to share their thoughts on the development of the plan. The Strategic Plan, which was released in draft form for the first time today, outlines Jersey’s social, environmental and economic priorities for the next three years. The draft contains few changes from the consultation paper released last month and is designed to give Islanders a further opportunity to comment on its structure before it goes to Scrutiny next month and is debated in the States in June.
Senator Le Sueur said: ‘The response has been no more than adequate so far, and we would like more responses from Islanders. We are still consulting people and we would like to hear from as many Islanders as possible, especially if they feel we are going in the wrong direction.’
