The wakening of an angry man

From Peter Johnson.

I’VE just woken up from my slumber of apathy and I’m angry, very angry.

Am I alone in my frustration at accepting the recent 25% increase in electricity charges with barely a whimper or murmur?

Regarding GST on food, I’ve got a choice — shop around or eat less. I’m a big lad, and I need to lose a few pounds in weight. But electricity?

Someone in the Big House is having a laugh. What choice do I have?

My vision in the dark is not great. Candles are sexy but not that safe. Solar panels . . . shall I live long enough to recoup the cost? Energy-saving bulbs; insulation; extra pullover . . ? Done that.

What’s my choice? I may go back to sleep. Or I guess I can always go to anger management.
