GUERNSEY police have been told of threats which have allegedly been made against Chief Minister Lyndon Trott.
Security is said to have been stepped up around Deputy Trott’s home and police are reported to be treating the threats seriously. It is not clear when the threats were made, but all Deputies have been lobbied hard by disgruntled savers after the Landsbanki Guernsey collapse.
They have been putting pressure on the Chief Minister to do more to help them recoup their money after the company went into administration. Reports suggested that these savers might be the source of the complaint, but the Landsbanki Guernsey Depositors Action Group has been quick to distance itself.
