MORE than 150 glamorous masked guests have helped to raise around £4,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Jersey and the Jersey Oncology Unit at the General Hospital.
The Lieutenant-Governor, Lieutenant-General Andrew Ridgway, and his wife Valerie, dressed up for the special masquerade ball, which was held at the Pomme d’Or Hotel on Saturday night.
Among the guests were Breakthrough Breast Cancer chief executive Jeremy Hughes, along with States Members and nurses from the Oncology Department.
Local singers Leila Begg and Karen Summers entertained the guests, and the Amadeus Dancers performed the Viennese Waltz for the masked guests.
