Boyle (18), who was at the Muratti watching Jersey defeat Guernsey 1-0 in Guernsey on Sunday, said: ‘I’ve been offered a year contract with an option for another year so I’m delighted.
‘Nothing has been signed yet obviously with the position the club is in at the moment with the administrator and although I’ve been told other clubs have enquired about me, I’m not interested in them because the only place I want to be is at Southampton.
‘I’ve enjoyed it that much, the coaches and the players have been fantastic and because they offered me the opportunity six months ago I feel I should stick with them. So I’m definitely going to be signing.’
