I CAN surely not be alone in condemning the suspension of the best gynaecological surgeon that Jersey has ever had.
Were it not for the skill and dedication of John Day, I would not be alive today and neither would I have my beautiful daughter Mollie. He has saved and touched the lives of so many others.
This kind and gentle man has endured enough. I can’t even begin to imagine how it must feel to be in his position – found guilty without trial and having to live every day away from the job that he is so brilliant at doing.
The fact that he is unwilling to comment on the situation just reflects what a decent human being he is.
He should be reinstated immediately.
