READING Ruth Pilkington’s letter (JEP, 26 May) regarding the Harley-Davidson bikes, I cannot believe anybody could make such a fuss about a few bikes that did not let her get in the filter-in-turn at Bel Royal.
A lot of the bikers were foreign and perhaps didn’t understand the system. Why not pull over for a few minutes and let the bikes through?
The Harley lads and girls were only over for a few days, so why make an issue of it?
The show on Sunday at the Weighbridge was the best display this Island has ever had. Well done to all Harley owners, including our Jersey and Guernsey crowd.
Let’s have a bigger one next year.
