Silence is the rule to remember

I HAVE only one comment to make concerning the behaviour of cadets on Liberation Day: those cadets may have given up their time, but in order to achieve the Liberation, many gave their lives.

I think that more emphasis should be made of this fact and these young people should be taught that on such occasions there are times to chatter – but, above all, there are times to remain silent and to appreciate just what they have been given.

Maybe the CO needs to go on a refresher course and maybe, as a result, there will be less chattering next year.
