New lease of life for restaurant in the bay

Hundreds of thousands of pounds have been spent on transforming the beachside building in Ouaisné into what the new owners call a trendy restaurant, café and bar.

The Beach House is the latest venture by the company that owns The Boat House in St Aubin, The Farm House, the former L’Auberge du Nord in St John, and the Landmark in St Brelade.

Upstairs, with views across Ouaisné and St Brelade’s bays, is a 100-seater restaurant and a 90-seat terrace, both of which opened yesterday. A café downstairs is due to open on 1 July.
