And in the battle for mobile business Sure has become the first to offer unlimited text messages and mobile downloads for a fixed monthly fee.
That offer also includes unlimited call minutes, but only to other Sure mobiles in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Airtel-Vodafone chief executive Iain Williams told the JEP that they will start offering fixed lines soon. ‘It is pretty imminent and we will launch within 30 days,’ he said.
