Is this what he was elected to do?

From Steve Ray

I PASSED through the Royal Square on Thursday morning and observed Senator Syvret leading a demonstration with his very small group of supporters, many of whom were blowing whistles!

What an embarrassment to this Island this member of our parliament is! He constantly acts like a spoilt child (even looking the part when interviewed on television).

Is this what he was elected to do? I do not think so, he is no longer working for the good of the Island and he should do the decent thing and resign from the States. By all means carry on and demonstrate as is his right, but not remain a member of the States that he openly despises and drawing a States member salary.

As someone who has voted for him in the past, I now suggest that he has indeed lost a vast amount of support that he had previously and must resign. I did not vote for him to behave the way he now does.
