OVER 2,500 businesses have been sent a questionnaire by the States Economic Development Department.
The department wants to know how people regard Jersey Enterprise, the office set up two years ago to advise new and established businesses.
Jersey Enterprise is also involved in other business-related States initiatives
These include export development, the small firms loan guarantee scheme and the undergraduate internship and apprenticeship schemes. The department receives an annual budget of £1.8 million.
This is the second year running that a questionnaire has been sent to contacts on the Jersey Enterprise database. There are 20 questions in all asking people whether they are ‘aware’ of Jersey Enteprise and other groups or services such as the skills executive, Careers Jersey, the small business forum, Creative Jersey, Jersey Business Venture and Genuine Jersey.
