Jonny Hickling fired the hosts ahead shortly after the interval only for the Scots to level when captain Jack Grimmer nodded home a free kick.
It’s was Jersey’s best result against their Victory Shield preparing opponents who have now been visiting Jersey for several years.
Jersey coach Dave Kennedy said: ‘It’s a great result for Jersey – there was little between the teams and a draw was the least we deserved. Back to front our team was excellent, we had a great shape defensively and we looked very good going forward. We had some fabulous performers too with Scott Johnson, Harry Watkins and Tim de la Haye all outstanding.’
