Under the Environment Department’s Energy Efficiency Service, 100 houses have been insulated over the last few months at no cost to the owners.

The scheme is to help low-income and vulnerable households cut their energy bills, and Environment Minister Freddie Cohen is encouraging more Islanders to take advantage of his department’s offer.

‘We recognise that there are many more households eligible for assistance that we believe can receive substantial benefit from this service,’ he said.
