The Palmair service will run until February and holiday-goers have already snapped up 12 per cent of the seats available.
Palmair will also be flying UK tourists into Jersey from Bournemouth for day trips, which the company hopes will boost the Island’s ailing tourism industry.
The routes will be operated by Bath Travel – the largest independent travel company in the UK.
Despite the fact that many people are choosing to forgo a vacation or holiday closer to home, Bath Travel’s managing director, Stephen Bath, is confident that the routes will be popular.
