The giant Royal Navy warship, HMS Ocean, sailed into St Aubin’s Bay yesterdaycarrying eight Lynx helicopters.
Two of the helicopters were scheduled to take part in the display with another forming part of a static exhibition on People’s Park.
The 22,500 tonne helicopter carrier – the largest Naval warship – will leave Jersey tomorrow as it continues a tour around British waters to celebrate the centenary of naval aviation.
