With teams due to start arriving in the Island next week for the event, which is being held in St Ouen’s Bay, the CI team has been announced and contains a wealth of experience.
Team manager Roley McMichael said that the CI team had been training hard, not just in the water but at Club Carrefour gym too and said: ‘We are slowly beginning to wind the team up ready for the start of competition on 27 September so we should be in good shape and ready.’
The team is Mark Le Moignan, Clayton Lidster, Renny and Piers Gould, Scott Eastwood, Mark Durbano, Christian Boletta,Sam George, Shelly McFarling, Arlene Maltman, Ben Skinner, Gordon Blake, David Speller, Scott Harben and Delia Baker.
