The Liberation Group says that sales have gone up since they created Liberation Ale earlier this year and rebranded Jersey’s favourite barmaid, Mary Ann.
The group, which took over 66 Channel Islands pubs in July 2008, is toasting a successful first year of trading. They have invested more than £1.5 million into the Channel Islands pub and drinks industry so far.
Liberation Group chief executive officer, Mark Crowther, said that the introduction of Liberation Ale and rebranding of Mary Ann beer had reversed a decline in keg beer sales in Jersey and Guernsey.
