St Clement just cannot take any more development!

From Heidi Pigeon.

I MUST write in support of Constable Len Norman, Deputy Ian Gorst and Deputy Anne Dupré with regards to the proposed development of yet another part of St Clement.

The traffic has increased ten-fold in my opinion since the development of the site opposite Caldwell Hall (to which I objected). I also objected to the building of new houses on the Jersey Recreation Grounds, but unfortunately this has just been passed, so we will have even more cars joining the line of traffic (I ride a moped).

If any further development is created ‘in my back yard’ or to the east of the Island, it will become impossible for anyone to enter or exit their properties. The proposed development of the Samarès Nursery site should not be allowed to happen. If the glasshouses are no longer of use, the land should be put back to fields in order to sustain the demand for produce that is grown and bought locally.
