The movie, Across the Pond, was given its first screening to a packed Town Hall on Saturday as part of the Branchage International Film Festival.
This week the film is being shown at the Mipcom 2009 festival in Cannes with a view to selling it to the History Channel and Canadian broadcasters.
Across the Pond was made by local production company Hall TV and director Richard Hall said he wanted to give a copy to schools to teach youngsters about the Island’s history.
