Glenn Mark Picot (28) claims he raided La Collette Stores in Green Street in April after being instructed by an ‘angry frog’ in his mind.
The following month, while on remand in La Moye, he poured a kettle of boiling water over an inmate he mistakenly believed was a sex offender after receiving orders from the imaginary ‘President Nabolu of Sudimarshia’, the Royal Court heard.
On Monday he was jailed for five and a half years after pleading guilty to attempted robbery and committing a grave and criminal assault.
