‘Jersey Occupied, The German Armed Forces in Jersey 1940-1945’ was launched at a ceremony at the Jersey War Tunnels yesterday. Author Michael Ginns took over ten years to complete it.
The book was launched at a ceremony attended by 100 people, including the Lieutenant-Governor, Lieutenant-General Andrew Ridgway, and his wife, Valerie.
Jersey War Tunnels have been working closely with Mr Ginns over the last ten years on the book and collections manager Chris Addy said: ‘It has been a personal privilege to work with Michael on this project. It was an experience that served only to enhance my respect for him as an author.’
