Children to get flu jabs from next week

The programme, which aims to vaccinate 16,000 children in about 14 days, will start at primary schools and nurseries next week, before being extended to secondary schools.

Thousands of youngsters were today given consent forms to pass on to their parents, with more being handed out throughout the week.

Dr Rosemary Geller, Jersey’s Medical Officer of Health, urged parents to complete and return the forms as soon as possible.
