Britain’s Cameron Norrie battled to victory in his first match of the Australian Open qualifiers – but compatriot Liam Broady saw his hopes of reaching the main draw dashed.
Norrie, ranked 112 in the world, faced Canada’s Filip Peliwo and despite dropping a set on a tie-break he rallied to win 6-1 6-7 6-4 and will face Australian John-Patrick Smith in the next round.
