Atletico Madrid full-back Filipe Luis is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after sustaining a heel injury in training.
The Brazil international had only returned to full training after three weeks out with a hamstring problem picked up in the 1-0 LaLiga defeat at Espanyol on December 22.
However, scans have shown that the 32-year-old has tendonitis in his left heel and will undergo treatment on the issue, but no timescale has been put on his recovery.
