Kyle Edmund’s majestic run at the Australian Open finally came to an end after he was beaten in straight-sets by world number six Marin Cilic in the semi-finals.
The British number two has impressed fans and pundits during the last two weeks in Melbourne following victories over 11th seed Kevin Anderson, Denis Istomin, Nikoloz Basilashvili, Andreas Seppi and third seed Grigor Dimitrov.
