Sacramento Kings overcome low-scoring start to beat Chicago Bulls

The Sacramento Kings pulled back from a shaky start to beat the Chicago Bulls 104-98 – with Bogdan Bogdanovic scoring a tie-breaking three-pointer with just 52 seconds remaining.

The Kings had scored just nine points in the first quarter, and were behind by as much as 21 points at one stage.

But the side fought back and scored 32 points in the second quarter, 36 in the third and 27 in the fourth, with George Hill making three free throws over the final 11 seconds.

The Denver Nuggets cruised to victory over the Charlotte Hornets, notching up 18 three-pointers to win 121-104.

Seven players finished with double figures, with Gary Harris scoring 27 points and Will Barton and Jamal Murray recording 18 apiece.

It was a fourth straight win for the Detroit Pistons, overcoming the Portland Trail Blazers 111-91 and scoring 62 points after half-time.

Andre Drummond, coming off an Eastern Conference Player of the Week performance, finished with 17 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots before leaving the game with six minutes left.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards held off a fourth quarter rally from the Indiana Pacers to win their fifth straight game 111-102.

Bradley Beal led the team with 21 points as eight Wizards finished in double figures.

Elsewhere, the Utah Jazz toppled the New Orleans Pelicans 133-109, the Orlando Magic edged the Miami Heat 111-109, and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks 104-101.
