Johanna Konta breezed into the last 16 at the Qatar Open with a straight sets victory over Spain’s Carla Suarez Navarro in Doha.
The British number one dropped just four games en route to a 6-2 6-2 success having beaten American Bernarda Pera, who defeated Konta at the Australian Open last month, in the opening round on Tuesday.
Konta’s next opponent will be either Australia’s Sam Stosur or Germany’s Angelique Kerber.
