Russell Westbrook scored a huge 43 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 124-116 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.
The 29-year-old also had 14 rebounds and eight assists.
A crucial go-ahead three-pointer from Westbrook in the final minute of play made all the difference as the Thunder accelerated to put away the final 10 points of the game.
The Golden State Warriors, meanwhile, secured their fifth win in a row with a 114-109 victory against the Atlanta Hawks.
Stephen Curry sat out some of the first quarter with an ankle injury, before leaving the court in the third, but still managed to put 28 points on the board for the Warriors.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors continued their good form, beating the Washington Wizards 102-95.
DeMar DeRozan scored 23 points, while reserve CJ Miles added 20 to push the Raptors to 10 wins in 11 games and four in a row on the road.
