The Boston Celtics scooped victory in the first game of the Eastern Conference semi-finals as two of the team’s rising stars put on a dominant display.
Terry Rozier and Jayson Tatum scored 29 and 28 points respectively as the Celtics surged to a 117-101 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

As the Sixers fought to claw back their deficit in the closing minutes, Rozier sank a critical three-pointer to put the pressure back on the opponents.
Al Horford also starred for Boston, finishing with 26 points and seven rebounds and hitting a triple with five minutes to go to keep their lead in double digits.

Joel Embiid led the way for the Sixers, scoring 31 points, as the team lost just their second game in 22.
Game two will be held in Boston on Thursday.
