Serena Williams postponed her pre-Wimbledon press conference on Saturday as she accompanied the Duchess of Sussex to a polo match.
Williams, who will play at the All England Club for the first time since becoming a mother, is close friends with Meghan and was a guest at her wedding at Windsor Castle in May.
The pair and Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian were photographed arriving for the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, where the Duke of Sussex was among the players.
Williams will instead speak to the media on Sunday, a day normally reserved for the defending champions.
