Welsh sport will enjoy arguably its greatest day on Sunday when cyclist Geraint Thomas is crowned the Tour de France champion.
Thomas finished third in the penultimate stage, holding an advantage of one minute 51 seconds and tradition dictates the yellow jersey is not attacked on the final stage into Paris.
