The big-name stars to look out for at the European Championships

Olympic and world champions have converged on Glasgow for the European Championships which start in the Scottish city on Thursday.

Six sports – aquatics, cycling, gymnastics, rowing, triathlon and team golf – will stage their own continental championships under a single multi-sport umbrella in the same city for the first time.
