A combination of severe-gale force winds and big spring tides are expected to cause flooding along Jersey’s south coast, according to Jersey Met.
The warning, issued for the 38-ft high tide at 7.03 am on Wednesday, states that some roads may need to be closed.
A red wind warning has also been issued for storm force ten winds in the Channel Islands area. Winds are expected to be slightly less strong – gale force eight to severe-gale force nine – over land.
