Route de St Catherine between St Catherine’s Breakwater and the St Catherine Lifeboat Station was closed at around 2.45 pm while emergency services dealt with the incident, which involved a blue Renault Clio.
The States police, honorary officers, firefighters and the ambulance service were all called to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the States police, which is now investigating the incident, said that no serious injuries had been reported.
She added: ‘The driver of the car was an 18-year-old male and the passenger was a 16-year-old male.
‘Both of them were taken to the Accident and Emergency department as a precaution. We believe the accident was caused because the car clipped a tree.’
