Mr Cavill – who is best known for playing Superman on the big screen – will take on the role of Geralt of Rivia in new Netflix series The Witcher.

The eight-part series is based on the fantasy novels of the same name and will see Mr Cavill as a solitary monster hunter.
In the clip, the Man of Steel and former St Michael’s School student is shown with long blonde hair.
The series is expected to hit the streaming platform next year.
